This mission is pursued by the development of social research, the development, testing and validation of Leading-edge practices, the social services and health intervention and technology assessment unit (ÉTMISSS) and through teaching and knowledge transfer activities.

The CREGÉS research program is structured around five axes in social gerontology, a multidisciplinary field of study focused on the social aspects of aging.

Axis 1 | Seniors as Social Actors;
Axis 2 | Heterogeneity of Ageing: Bodies, Identities and Society;
Axis 3 | Service Delivery to Seniors and Their Loved Ones;
Axis 4 | Living Environments;
Transversal Axis | Public Policies.
