Job Description: 

Each semester, NOW interns gain hands-on experience that prepares them to become future leaders in activism. Internship opportunities include:

Organizing and attending Congressional and U.S. Supreme Court hearings, press conferences, demonstrations, and rallies
Writing blog posts on feminist and social justice issues
Participating in NOW 101 workshops focusing on feminist topics and professional development
Lobbying members of Congress to support key legislation
Engaging with NOW’s grassroots members

With hundreds of thousands of contributing supporters and members across all 50 states and the District of Columbia, NOW has been at the forefront of the fight for gender equality since its founding in 1966. Through intersectional grassroots activism, NOW works to advance feminist ideals, drive societal change, eliminate discrimination, and protect the equal rights of all women and girls in social, political, and economic spheres.
