The Biomedical Engineering Graduate Student Association (BMEGA) offers a mentorship scheme for all graduate students enrolled in BME, as well as to undergraduate engineering students. The mentorship scheme is designed to help new graduate students settle into student life in BME, and to provide an opportunity for students to receive peer advice on graduate work, extracurricular activities, research opportunities, etc. Undergraduate students who are interested in finding out about what biomedical engineering is, and what it entails at UBC, are also encouraged to sign up for this mentorship scheme.
