The Innovation Lab is dedicated to advancing bold, future-focused ideas by collaborating with partners to maximize the effectiveness of their project design and uncover solutions in a cooperative, low stakes environment. Our emphasis is on learning through testing and nurturing experimentation to generate those insights. The Lab spearheads two pivotal initiatives: the Accelerator program —which helps teams expand or enhance their project design in a rapid timeframe, and the Incubation Network — which convenes projects that share a common purpose to surface out-of-the ordinary or novel solutions through peer-learning and shared goals. The FSC Community of Practice is an inclusive and pan-Canadian network designed to foster knowledge sharing and collaboration among stakeholders in the skills development ecosystem.

With the help of our delivery partners, Research Impact Canada, we offer participants the opportunity to grow their networks with folks from across the country who are preparing Canadians for the future of work, access curated tools and case studies, learn from experts and participate in professional development opportunities on timely topics.

GMI bridges the gap between graduation and first career jobs for underrepresented young professionals from diverse communities.

Launched by the UN Secretary General, President of the World Bank and the Council of Women World Leaders at the UN General Assembly in 2018, the WE (women entrepreneurs) Empower UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) Challenge is the first-of-its-kind global competition for women social entrepreneurs who are advancing the UN SDGs and inspiring entire communities to create the world we want by 2030.

The opportunity recognizes their innovative work and provides Awardees with capacity-building training sessions and opportunities to connect with an unparalleled global network to advance their enterprises. This program elevates and showcases the valuable contribution women social entrepreneurs and business leaders can make toward the SDGs and solving the world’s greatest challenges.

Innovation Factory provides comprehensive support to Ontario-based start-ups and scaling companies through advisory services, training, mentorship, and strategic connections. Its newly launched Femtech Canada network has been at the forefront of fostering innovation in women’s health, supporting female-identifying founders who are developing and commercializing women’s health products and solutions.

Women Funding Women (WFW) is a Canada-wide collective that mobilizes women investors, particularly angel investors, to support women-led ventures. WFW’s mission is to close the persistent funding gap for women entrepreneurs by activating a powerful network of investors committed to gender equity in the entrepreneurial ecosystem.
