Canadian Apprenticeship Forum - Mentor Development

The National Mentor Development Program’s primary aim is to empower women and gender-diverse individuals within the trades by equipping them with valuable mentorship skills. This program also strives to establish a strong support network that offers coaching and showcases positive role models. The goal of the program is to enhance the retention and career advancement opportunities for women in the trades through creating effective mentors and, subsequently, mentorship relationships.

Nature Canada - Women for Nature Mentorship Program

Nature Canada’s Women for Nature mentorship program empowers 30 young women leaders over six months. Participants are chosen for their love of nature and efforts towards conservation and protection of our planet.

Million Women Mentors (MWM)

Million Women Mentors connects local communities and girl-serving institutions to state leaders, corporations, and a national movement to build momentum and drive for local efforts. It is a national and global movement with local roots.

National Organization for Women (NOW)

Each semester, NOW interns gain hands-on experience that prepares them to become future leaders in activism. Internship opportunities include:

Organizing and attending Congressional and U.S. Supreme Court hearings, press conferences, demonstrations, and rallies
Writing blog posts on feminist and social justice issues
Participating in NOW 101 workshops focusing on feminist topics and professional development
Lobbying members of Congress to support key legislation
Engaging with NOW’s grassroots members
